These Terms and Conditions (“Terms”) constitute a legally binding agreement between you (“User” or “you”) and Campus Technologies, the operator of Campus Bite (“we,” “us,” or “our”). By accessing or using the Campus Bite application (“App”) and its services, you acknowledge and agree to comply with these Terms. If you do not agree, please refrain from using the App.
1. App Usage and Access
- The Campus Bite App is designed to serve users within the University of the Punjab boundaries in Lahore, Pakistan
- Users must provide accurate, complete, and up-to-date information during registration. Any false information may result in suspension or termination of the account
- Users are responsible for keeping their login credentials confidential and must immediately report any unauthorized use of their account
- The App is intended for personal, non-commercial use unless authorized by Campus Technologies
2. Orders and Delivery
- Users can place orders for food, beverages, and other products listed in the App from partner restaurants and stores
- Delivery services are limited to the defined delivery areas on the University of the Punjab campus
- Delivery charges may apply, and these will be shown at checkout before confirming the order
- Estimated delivery times are provided for reference only and may vary based on weather, traffic, and operational conditions. We strive to notify users of any delays
3. Payment
- The App supports multiple payment methods, including cash on delivery, debit/credit cards, and mobile wallets (where available)
- Payments are processed using secure payment gateways, compliant with the Payment Card Industry Data Security Standard (PCI DSS)
- Users are responsible for ensuring that all payment information is accurate and valid. Any issues with transactions should be reported to us immediately
4. Refunds and Cancellations
Cancellation Fees
- Orders can only be canceled before confirmation by the restaurant/store
- If an order has already been confirmed or prepared, cancellations may not be allowed, or a cancellation fee may apply
Refund Processing
- Refunds, if applicable, will be processed within 5–7 business days to the original payment method
5. Privacy and Data Usage
- We collect and use personal data in accordance with our Privacy Policy, available in the App
- By using the App, you consent to the collection, use, and sharing of your data as described in the Privacy Policy
- We are committed to data security and privacy by adhering to global standards, including GDPR and Google’s Data Protection Terms
6. Intellectual Property
- All content on the App, including logos, designs, text, images, videos, and software, is protected by intellectual property laws and belongs to Campus Technologies or its licensors
- Users are granted a non-exclusive, limited, and revocable license to access and use the App for personal use only
Prohibited Use
- Users may not reproduce, distribute, modify, or create derivative works based on the App’s content without prior written permission
7. Prohibited Activities
Users must comply with applicable laws and these Terms while using the App. Prohibited activities include, but are not limited to:
- Engaging in fraudulent, illegal, or unauthorized transactions
- Attempting to hack, disrupt, or interfere with the functionality of the App
- Using the App for any activity that harms others or violates local laws
- Creating multiple accounts with the intent to exploit promotions or services
8. Disclaimer and Limitation of Liability
“As-Is” Service
- The App and its services are provided “as-is” and “as-available” without warranties of any kind
No Guarantees
- Campus Technologies makes no guarantees regarding the availability, reliability, or accuracy of information within the App
Limitation of Liability
- Campus Technologies and its partners shall not be liable for direct, indirect, or incidental damages arising from your use of the App, including but not limited to delivery delays or data breaches
Force Majeure
- We are not responsible for failures or delays caused by events beyond our control, including natural disasters, strikes, or internet disruptions
9. Third-Party Services and Links
- The App may contain links to third-party websites or services (e.g., partner restaurants, payment providers)
- We are not responsible for the content, privacy practices, or terms of third-party services. Users are encouraged to review the terms and policies of any third-party site before engaging with them
10. Termination and Suspension
- Campus Technologies reserves the right to suspend or terminate your account if you:
- Violate these Terms or engage in prohibited activities
- Provide false or misleading information
- Upon termination, your right to use the App will immediately cease, and we may delete your data, subject to our Privacy Policy
11. Governing Law
- These Terms are governed by the laws of Pakistan
- Any disputes arising from the use of the App will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts in Lahore, Pakistan
12. Modifications and Updates
- We reserve the right to modify or update these Terms at any time
- Users will be notified of significant changes through email or in-app notifications
- Continued use of the App after any changes implies acceptance of the updated Terms
